I have always said when I die, for gawd’s sake, someone spruce up my obituary. Can it at least be in color? Shouldn’t it celebrate all my annoying but lovable attributes too? Not just my funloving smiling and love of animals blah blah…well my idea, sadly, has been outdone and in the most amazing way – by way of revealing himself as the Amazing Spider-Man. Aaron Joseph, who passed away at the tender age of 35, left the above obituary behind, and it required not an ounce of color to be spruced up and hit right to the heart of it – death sucks, but truthfully though tragically at the same time, this obituary reminds that life is something to be cherished. Both before and after it is over.
I pay homage to this amazing Spider-Man, to his family and to all the rest of us who he left just a little better than before. Isn’t that exactly the point. Rest well Aaron. ♥
